The older I get the more I love nature. |
|
And that's all right with me.
Any others experience this?

1. My father became a real tree-hugger after his ALS diagnosis.... |
|
I mean, he would actually want to be taken to the park so he could FEEL the bark.
I miss him so much.

2. I feel your pain. My mother died 6 years ago. Sometimes I think I'll never |
|
get used to her being gone.

3. Most of the time, I realize that I was lucky to have been raised by him. |
|
Gratitude is the primary emotion now, but grief is still a component at times.
It's been 10 year since he died, but I often find myself making funny faces and mugging it up to make everyone around me happy, and I KNOW I am only imitating him.

4. I'm noticing the little things more now, but I've always been a |
|
nature lover. It's my religion, I guess.... Now that I'm retired I have the time to learn the names of all the wildflowers I see, etc.

5. I have always loved it. |
|
But I now have the time to enjoy it. So I seem to appreciate it more than I once did.
