1. Dawkins is a wonderful writer.

The Blind Watchmaker and The Selfish Gene were two books in college I was glad I was assigned to read.

2. I got the book in audio, and he and his wife Lalla Ward (Romana from Dr. Who)

are the readers. Makes it even more sarcastic than just the text would be. :)

And yeah, he's an excellent writer. He lays out some of the experiments and what they are trying to prove so well that you get chills when he reaches the findings. Very well done.

4. First I have to finish the books on my list.

Right now, I'm reading "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris. After that, I am reading his follow-up book (basically a response to all the Christians, Jews and Muslims who wrote to him to rip him a new one from his first book) entitled "A Letter To A Christian Nation".

After that, it's "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins.

Then, it's on to "The Greatest Show on Earth". I have quite a bit of catching up to do. :)

All of that to say, all the reading and information I glean, will NEVER be well-received by a Creationist. In fact, they shut me down before I get through my first sentence. They don't want to hear it. They will tell me that Satan has his hold on me, has made me blind to "the truth", and that they will pray for me.

So - I will continue to educate and inform myself by reading these books, but I will NOT waste my time trying to share it with a Creationist. Life's too short. :P
