I'll be visiting Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia in mid-November.
Can anyone tell me what clothes I'll be needing (Female -business casual)? I figure I can leave the quilted parka and boots home, but after that I'm stumped. Heavy sweaters? light sweaters?

2. Where in TN?
*Maybe* turtle necks to wear inside, with heavy sweaters, fleece and light jackets for outside in East TN and some of the northern counties. We've also had some years where we're wearing tee shirts at Thanksgiving, though. :hi:

4. I'd definitely pack some short-sleeves then.
You can always add layers. Hope your trip goes well. :)

5. If you are going really tight in the Bible Belt
I recommend you talk with your doc about chloroquine, fluconazole, and acyclovir. No, I'm not a doctor, I just play one on TV. Yup-yup-snarf.

10. No disrespect to the South - I just can't wrap my head around having
weather in November that's not sleet or snow.

7. We're random it has snowed on Derby and I sometimes crank up the AC in February
I'd say a solid jacket level of cover should be in the mix but a coat is more than likely overkill.

8. you will want some kind of jacket especially at night.
pack a lightweight hoodie, or just buy a souvenir one if you need it.

It can be very chilly in early November or quite balmy.
