Will THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW help take down Bush? |
|
OK, so it looks like a big piece of special effects-heavy fluff, but will the movie have an effect on the outcome of the election? Will people be moved to look deeper into global warming issues because of movie? Will this movie have the same effect on environmentalists as PASSION is having on evangelicals?
Movie opens in May, but from the trailers, what do you think???

Although it's bound to be melodramatic, the scientific ideas are quite plausible.
We talk about it on the Energy/Environment forum pretty often. I've been following the ice-age argument since I was in college in the late 1970s. It's getting kind of spooky lately.

but how many 'mericans really, really care about Earth? Sure they say they like trees but get all upset when the brave protestors stand up to the likes of evil Pacific Lumber or any such organization in the world and laughing say to shoot them out of the trees?
