Like the books says, it's too heavy and eventually you'll get swarmed over with the undead, and it doesn't cover all of the body.

A ninja though could deal death with impunity. :)

11. I've never thought a ninja would be particularly effective against zombies.

Mostly for the fact that their weapons aren't designed for bashing. Sure, they could cut heads off, but a decapitated head isn't a dead head. They would still be able to bite if stepped on. It also takes a lot of power to cut a head off. After a few heads the ninja would get tired. Also, cutting through bone isn't an easy feat. A strike might not get all the way through and the sword may become stuck, or the sword could possibly break.

I would think a viking or a gladiator would probably have the best chance.

12. They used to measure the quality of a katana by how many bodies it could slice through at once.

"Mitsudo setsudan" which means "three bodies with one cut". They would test them on human cadavers. If it can go through three spinal cords I doubt any craniums will slow it down.
