So we switched today from Tivo to DISH dvr. Still trying to get used to it and |
|
now I have to reprogram all of my season passes. Ah, well. The extra storage space makes it all worthwhile.
Anyone else have DISH dvr?

2. Thanks! I have been reading the book. I think I might have it figured out, but I |
|
can't test my theories while the kids are watching their cartoons. :eyes: :P

4. I ran the Tivo. It was my thing to sort out the programming and the To-do list and whatnot. I will |
|
have to learn a new system but I intend to master it so I can do my old job again.
Nice thing about the switch is that we have far more recording space, and it's a dual receiver so not only can the kids watch TV in their room but they can watch recorded programs as well, which was not possible with the Tivo.

5. Yup. Worth every penny! |

The bad thing is, when I visit my parents I'm always trying to back up something if we miss it - they don't have the DVR! :silly:
