Anybody buy a bottle of Old Spice lately?
Edited on Tue Oct-13-09 10:20 PM by trackfan
What the hell happened? - it's microscopic! It was like a prop in a move, with me playing the giant.

Disclaimer: Yes, I'm an old man. I use Old Spice Classic. The "Pur(sic) Sport" makes me smell like I'm "on the make".

1. No, but it seems to be that way
with most things lately. And then they'll come out with a bottle in the original size and claim 45% more FREE! and make you feel like you are getting a bargain.

2. I love original/classic Old Spice...
and I'm only 30. It's pretty much all I use.

Although I did get a small bottle of McGraw cologne (yes, as in Tim McGraw) for Christmas last year, which I occasionally use - and I do think that it smells pretty decent.

3. I do too.
They discontinued the "body spray" aerosol in the original scent.

They only offer the other flavors.

I complained to Proctor and Gamble. This has "New Coke" written all over it.

5. This is a bit of a tangent, but speaking about repackaging items
(and raising the prices), has anyone taken a good look at York Peppermint Patties recently? They used to be about palm-sized, now they're barely larger than a silver dollar. And more expensive. Very disappointing.

6. 2.5 fl oz.
My bottles of cologne and spray cologne both say 2.5 fl oz. and yes they do look like they belong in a toy doll house.

7. Perhaps the manufacturer thought it would make aging men who remember
the original bottle, imagine that in comparison, as they age, their weiner is magically enlarging.
