I went to bed at 6:30 last night |

trying to get into a new schedule sucks. It will be worth it, but in the meantime, it just sucks
More self-improvement on the health front to come, but for now, I have to be up every morning early and at the gym by 6:00.

1. Good for you, my dear MissMillie! |

I really admire anyone who can make themselves into a morning person...
Good luck to you!

2. Getting used to new hours can take a while |
|
When I started 3rd shift it just about killed me there for a while. No matter how early I got to bed I would still feel like a sloth when I got up and I'd be dragging ass all night at work. Then I went through a phase where I could not get to sleep until it was 4 hours or so before I had to get up. I tried Ambien at the maximum recommended dosage and I might as well have drank coffee before bed.
It took me about 2 years to get used to third shift and let me tell you, I drank enough coffee and took enough caffeine pills to give everyone in a small city insomnia.
