Mac OS X users... what default program do you use to open "flv" files?

4. I dIdn't know either. But if you use download helper... an add on for firefox, it helps

you capture video or audio to your HD. Often you have a choice of saving the file as an MP4 or an flv (not as good quality). Now you are not in the dark ages. I think DL helper is an awesome proram, btw.

7. A .flv File Stands for Flash Video

A good number of internet videos are in this format. For example, all Youtube videos are .flv. To watch it on your personal computer, offline, you need to have the Adode Flash player installed on your machine, or you need to convert the .flv video to another format.

6. QuickTime

There are plug ins that will allow QT to play .flv files.

Perian is one of them.
