Is it possible to price haggle at the Goodwill? |
|
I know, what kind of cheapskate am I????
But there is an item at the Goodwill that, frankly, I don't think is worth the $20 they want for it. Can I make an offer? Do the people who work the floor have the power to grant a less expensive price on something.
FWIW, while not the item I had in mind, this particular Goodwill slapped a $100 price tag on a pram from circa 1950. While a very cool and kitschy vintage item, the thing was in horrendous shape and is not worth that kind of money, IMO....

3. i've made deals with the 'pricers' in the back |
|
esp if the item has been around a while. the tags are dated and if it's been on the shelf for a couple weeks, I can usually get them to discount it

4. Goodwill electronics are always priced high |
|
As if they were still back in the early 90's. Want to buy an old 17 inch CRT monitor for $60, unknown functionality?
