I hate marketing people. Always tampering with perfection and creating way more flavors/varieties than necessary. It's just a matter of time before they create Strawberry Lint 'N' Mustard Snickers. x(

45. I hate dark chocolate

Too damn bitter. The marriage of chocolate with sugar is one of civilization's greatest developments - but dark chocolate falls short with its low sugar-to-chocolate ratio.

I do make a rare exception for Mounds, because I love coconut so much - it's sweet enough to complement the bitterness nicely. But still, I prefer Almond Joys and their milk chocolate shells. It's highly doubtful that the nougat and caramel of Milky Way can overcome the nastiness of dark chocolate the same way coconut can.

(I will reiterate, I didn't place milk chocolate Milky Way in this poll because of my preferences - I placed it because it's the parent brand, preceding all other varieties by decades.)

10. I like the malty taste of the Milky Way.

I think I heard that the Milky Way's use of malt helped save Anheiser-Busch through the prohibition years. Just for that it deserves a vote.
My all time favorite was the Milkshake bar (I think that was it's name). Really malty.

20. Ah, my three favorites

Tough call, but I went with Snickers, because I figure the peanuts can actually be considered "good for you" (never mind the surrounding sugar). Last week I did indulge in a "fun size" one because I had barely eaten all day, my blood sugar had bottomed out, and I needed SOMEthing in my stomach. Worked like a charm.

Milky Ways are my downfall because I can't eat just one mini. I will eat every last one I can get my hands on. I don't even care if it's my son's Halloween booty!

Pretty much. 3 Musketeers is Milky way with no caramel. Or Snickers with no peanuts and caramel.

That's why I lumped these 3 together - they are variations on the same chocolate/nougat bars.
