I'm not giving out candy this year for Halloween
This is the first year I have ever had the chance to give out treats on Halloween. My work schedule always interfered until this year, but that's only because I took this week off of work.

But, yeah, no candy from me. I think I'm going to give out one dollar bills and dress up like Al Capone. :D

1. In years past I've had candy, but no kids came so I buy candy I like
since I usually end up eating it.

2. That's basically why I'm not handing out candy
I've been doing a weight loss deal and I'm afraid my will power would be tested if I had left-over candy. So, the little ones can buy their own candy and get exactly the kind they like and I don't have to wrestle with my will power. :dilemma:

3. We quit giving out candy when they started trucking in non-local kids.
They were coming into our neighborhood by the pickup and van load.

7. TBH, I'm just plain sick of setting things up, buying lots of treats and then
having no one show up. Nevada, Oklahoma, Maine, Texas ... maybe 6 individuals/groups in the last decade.

8. For years I have lived in apartment buildings.

No one came tick-or-treating. I always bought a bag of funsize candy bars just in case, but always ended up eating them myself. This year I don't think I'll do it. How much you wanna bet kids will show up with year?

9. Exactly - that's what we think every year: "If we don't get some, we'll be innundated
with kids." I don't care any more.
