This year's Halloween joke...
After thinking for weeks about a costume for Halloween, a little boy decided on being a pirate. But he wasn’t going to be just any pirate; He wanted to be a pirate captain. So with the help of his mother, he fashioned an eye patch, a little wooden sword that he wore in his belt, and a hat patterned after the traditional pirate’s hat. On the front he drew a big skull and crossbones. His costume was complete!

Halloween night arrived and the little boy was so excited about going trick-or-treating in his new costume. With trick-or-treat bag in hand, he marched to the first house on his trick-or-treat route and knocked on the door. An elderly woman answered. Upon seeing the little boy in his costume, she gushed, “Oh, what a cute little pirate!”

The little boy, somewhat indignant at the prospect of being seen as merely a pirate, replied, “I’m not just a pirate, Ma'am! I’m a pirate captain!”

Amused, the woman asked, “Well, if you’re a pirate captain, where are your buccaneers?

The boy thought for a moment and replied, “Under my 'buccan' hat.”
