Did you see Pink Floyd's 1994 concert on PBS the other night? |
|
One of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, Brain Damaged, had an accompanying video that was hysterically funny about who the "lunatic" is.
I've never seen this concert (Dark Side of the Moon) nor any Pink Floyd music videos of any kind, so it was awesome to see their own interpretation rather than, for example, the synched-up Wizard of Oz or 2001 scenes.

1. That performance was from their "Pulse" video I think. It is an all around |

EXCELLENT show and I definitely recommend you should purchase on DVD. David Gilmour's guitar work throughout is spot-on and his voice sounds great. Pulse is the perfect video to crank up on a Sunday afternoon on your sound system and listen while you're doing stuff.
Now the Pulse CD is actually taken from a few different shows and is not as good in my opinion, but the Pulse video is one of my favorite concert videos of any artist ever for the impeccable sound of the group and expecially Gilmour.

2. I'll take the 20 minutes they were on stage at Live 8 over that entire show any time |
|
Gilmour's a great guitar player, but it just ain't Pink Floyd without Roger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11UUVzlI6hI
