A rare pic of Tippy the Tortie
Her coloring is so dark taking photos of her is a real challenge- no matter how hard I try the lighting is wrong, she turns at the wrong moment, or it simply looks a wee bit blurry (like this one does).

2. My dear Prisoner_Number_Six!
Ah, that's a great shot. And how lucky for you both that she decided to climb onto your lap just when you had the camera nearby!

The tiny bit of fuzziness just looks artistic, IMHO that is!

Thanks for sharing, sweetie...

She's gorgeous...

3. D'aww, her little black mask!
:loveya:

My girl Madimi is a tortie too. They can be challenging to photograph, indeed. And I have a friend who usually visits at night, but one time he came over by daylight and actually saw the sun bringing out the orange highlights in her fur and he said, "Has your cat CHANGED COLOR?"

5. She's beautiful! I have a long--haired tortie named Baby Cat.
She does the same thing -- moves just as I'm taking a picture, so most of them come out as blurs.

9. I was expecting a turtle or tortoise!
Duh!
Pretty kitty.
I've heard tortoiseshell cats are insane, more so than the usual cat. Does your kitty act strange, at least strange for a cat?

11. She's batshit crazy.
Hair trigger- one second happy and purring, next second her claws are out and she's trying to eat my hand.

14. Pics of Torties always come out blurry.
I swear to God a Tortie can magically appear out of a shadow, and just as quickly disappear, like they could cross dimensions at will.

Beautiful kitty.
