I am ill with something other than H1N1.
I know it's not H1N1 because I got the vaccine a week and a half ago - I'm considered in a priority group because of my asthma.

Basically, I have a cold, but the weird thing is that other than a sore throat, the cold symptoms themselves aren't all that bad. It's mostly that I'm tired as hell, my back hurts, I have swollen lymph nodes all around my neck and jaw, and I've been sleeping away the day. I don't know if I have a fever, but if I do, it's pretty mild.

Bleh.

8. Aw, thanks.

I'll get my throat swabbed if this goes on. Bleh, viruses/the bad kind of bacteria suck.

4. well it sounds like the flu to me, you do know the vaccine ain't guaranteed don't you?
Edited on Mon Nov-16-09 05:24 PM by pitohui
furthermore i just read this morning that a lot of the vaccine is counterfeit

and besides you were supposed to get TWO flu vaccines this year, there is another seasonal flu besides h1n1 going around

before i would panic and assume things like lupus, sudden onset of chronic fatique, or any other illness that will impact your life for years, i would assume...if i hear hoofbeats it's probably horses

see a doctor

7. Makes sense.
At any rate, I'm seeing my doctor on Wednesday for something else so I'll see how I feel then.

6. It's too early to tell...
I've only been sick since yesterday, so who knows. I'm seeing my doctor for something else Wednesday morning, though, so I'll ask him.

11. I have the same thing. It started yesterday.
My temp was 102 last night and is 100 right now but I don't feel to the touch like I have a fever. (I have MS which might have something to do with that.)
