When will YOU donate to DU? |

If you're donating during this cycle which charity will you be donating toward?
I'm going for PFLAG myself.

As you can see, I have already...
All the charities are more than worthy, but PP is my favorite. PFLAG is also very worthwhile!

I'm leaning towards the VetDogs myself. But there's nothing stopping you from throwing them 5 bucks today, if you can spare it.........

Animals and vets are my two favorite causes, no offense to any of these other causes...but I'm definitely donating Friday if I can swing the cash. I'll know tomorrow when I come back from my interview.

Modest Needs or Remote Area Medical Foundation. Because I live in one of Kansas's most poverty stricken counties and see all kinds of folk who need things like a running car or a warm house or a visit to the doctor every day...Makes me grateful that I have a house that is livable (Tho by a lot of county and state Building Codes around the country it is easily condemnable) and a car that runs.
My first project this spring is a "Free Box" for my little town.

13. would love to donate to each this week |
|
I simply can't do it now though. Does anyone know if there will be a food drive this year.... seems like it was in December last year. Seems like we had the regular quarterly donation drive plus the one for the food banks, I just can't remember. My star is good for a couple more weeks I think... I donated during the food drive last year.

18. Me. You could sponsor me. I need to maintain my star, which was |

anonymously donated, as only then can I post in the groups area, which provides great psychological relief to a troubled (mostly by economic circumstances) mind. I don't know if my star ever expires. (PS What's a good candidate? I'm too brutally honest to be a politician. Sort of like Ralph Nader, I guess.) dc

Good candidate just means someone who needs it. So, you're good. :)

It had been a while. I like all of the organizations, and wish that I could have donated to all of them, but having recently been very behind in bills and things myself, I felt a more personal attachment to Modest Needs. I figured, now that I'm finally caught up and I have a bit of extra money, I can try to help out some people who are in the situation I was in myself quite recently. It wasn't a lot, but every little bit helps, right?
