The ultimate in irony
I had a form I had to fill out, and mail by the 22nd, and that was okay, because it was about two weeks ago when I got it, filled it in, and then realized there was no return envelope with me. Since I was at the doctor's office, I stuck it into the book I had brought for reading, and put the book away.

A couple of days ago, I remembered that the 22nd was soon to be upon me, and I decided to look for the book, which should, by rights, still be handy, as I hadn't finished it. And now, the title of that book eluded me as well! So, in my mind, I had to remember which book I had been reading at the time, as the one book I really wanted to be reading for some reason didn't seem appropriate ("what's you reading, dearie?" "oh, Atheist Universe"), so I had taken a different one.

It took me awhile. I kinda knew which ones it wasn't, and it was while I was looking over some other books that I knew what it was. It was one of the recently purchased home organization books I had gotten! So, here I was, armed with the book's title and author, and then I realized....I couldn'r find the book. I don't need a book to organize my life; I need a shotgun to blow whatever brain I've got left to smithereens!

1. Well that would just be messy.
But the story is certainly ironic.

2. I found my copy of
Atheist Universe on the second shelf of the bookcase on the west side of the dining room/library, 4th book from the right (had to do some searching because I had done some rearranging lately and I can't locate anything right away)
I actually bought the book at a Barnes and Noble in the middle of fundiland
No forms inside
A few years ago I was bagging up books to donate for the library book sale and found two 3 day Disney World passes from 1983 with 1 each day left, an expired lottery ticket and $500 cash left from a former boyfriend's dog track winnings
