1. I think the people down the hall know who you are. |

Careful what you carry, cause the man is wise. You are still an outlaw in their eyes.
Hard to beat the old Steely Dan

The lead guitarist looks a bit like Steve Colbert.
Steely Dan was the very first concert I ever saw. Tampa Stadium. I'm guessing '72 or so. They opened for Chicago. They came out on staged, dressed like baseball players and spent 5 minutes batting what looked to be baseball into the crowd. They were rubber balls meant to look like the real thing.
To this day, one of the best shows I've ever seen. Also first time I smelled hash and pot. And I thought, "Man, that's a pretty harsh flavor".

4. I was at the first concert they performed in 19 years in the early 1990's... |
|
at the Palace of Auburn Hills, north of Detroit (where the Pistons play basketball)
20,000 40 year olds singing "My old School"
Saw them 4 or 5 times since then, the last time a couple years ago here in Fort Myers at the Barbara Mann Center for the Performing Arts. 3500 50 year olds singing "My old School"!

6. there's a very cool vid using all public domain clips of chemistry/psychedelic-related scenes. |
|
if that makes sense
then, there's another one that's done as an acoustic torch song, both set to Kid Charlemagne. I'll see if I can find them
