Time flies, seems like you were just going away not that long ago! :hi:

24. things are going really well

I'm loving all my classes, and I have amazing professors. We just registered for the spring semester, and when we come back from Christmas break(during which I'm going to Brazil with my scholars program!!!) we'll be making the switch to our audio semester. In the film program during freshman year we spend a semester working with visual and a semester working with audio. then the students switch the next semester. I LOVE all my visual professors, and am going to miss their classes - though thankfully I'll still see many of them in upperclassman classes and around campus. My favorite professor is the head of post-production, so I'll see him on a regular basis.

I have so many great friends here, and have a blast with them. People from the complete opposite background that I come from. One of my good friends is from Queens.. we always joke that "Queens and Alabama go together like peanut butter and jelly!". My roomie is from Jersey and is amazing. I've also been a seeing a great guy who's also in film, and I have so many film friends from within my classes and outside of them. NYU is a large school, but the film program has a small community within the school that seems to be really close.

The city is amazing, I love it here! I went back to Alabama and visited with family during Thanksgiving break, which was great.. i missed them all! At the same time I realized that NYC is definitely the place for me, and just being away a few days I was already missing it! I love this city!
