I just snapped at an employee.
Mangy little fucker asked for another piece of coal for the stove.

What the hell does he think I am? Some sort of Christian charity?

3. Do you do this also?
Man that Waters the Workers' Beer

(This score available as ABC, SongWright, PostScript, PNG, or PMW, or a MIDI file)
Pennywhistle notation and Dulcimer tab for this song is also available

Man that Waters the Workers' Beer
(Paddy Ryan)

I am the man, the very fat man,
That waters the workers' beer
I am the man, the very fat man,
That waters the workers' beer
And what do I care if it makes them ill,
If it makes them terribly queer
I've a car, a yacht, and an aeroplane,
And I waters the workers' beer

Now when I waters the workers' beer,
I puts in strychnine
Some methylated spirits,
And a can of kerosine
Ah, but such a brew so terribly strong,
It would make them terribly queer
So I reaches my hand for the watering-can
And I waters the workers' beer

Now a drop of good beer is good for a man
When he's tired, thirsty and hot
And I sometimes have a drop myself,
From a very special pot
For a strong and healthy working class
Is the thing that I most fear
So I reaches my hand for the watering-can
And I waters the workers' beer

Now ladies fair, beyond compare,
Be you maiden or wife
Spare a thought for such a man
Who leads such a lonely life
For the water rates are frightfully high,
And the meths is terribly dear
And there ain't the profit there used to be
In watering the workers' beer

4. that's pitiful
I had a worker who had only been at work for about nine hours ask for a break today. A break? He is lucky I was in a good mood or he would have been fired.

5. What pisses me off is when the ungrateful fucks want some time "off".
If you want time "off", then quit. You're here because you said you wanted a job, and I was good enough to give you one; now you want to take a day "off"?

Didn't used to be like this.

Ever since that damn movie Norma Rae, employees dare to ask for stuff their parents never would have had the audacity to ask for.

The youngsters just totally don't know their place any more.
