12. It seems like a no-brainer, doesn't it. But...

his sister won't be able to attend the wedding we are going to anyway. And the shawl is itchy! :-( It's very pretty though. In my experience, it's not always a good idea for Westerners to attempt to dress in a way that looks like only a 1/2 attempt to fit in anyway. In other words, it would just look like a failed attempt. I'm probably over thinking this whole thing! Can you tell I'm stressed?! lol

Goa. No I don't speak Hindi or Konkani. Their primary language is Konkani. Everyone in his family is proficient in English.
