2. Marvel hands down!

Superman is dead, it's been decades since a decent Superman came out. The only decent franchise DC has right now is Batman (The Dark Knight DID kick ass). However, Marvel has got a good amount of good characters right now in their movies. Iron Man was kick ass and Iron Man 2 is looking awesome as well. Some of the X-Men flicks were pretty good (I liked Last Stand, I seem to be alone in that regard). The first two Spiderman films were great (I'd say the second was probably the best comic book movie of all time). The Hulk reboot was very solid, a hell of a lot better than the crap that Ang Lee made (and both Ed Norton and Tim Roth were fantastic). So maybe The Fantastic Four movies sucked big time and the Wolverine flick was only so so, Marvel still has a much better track record in terms of movies. Plus there are tons of good Marvel flicks coming out in the next few years like "Thor", "Captain America" and "The Avengers". The only franchise that I'd possibly be interested in from D.C. (aside from Batman, of course) is The Green Lantern. And since I heard that Ryan Reynolds will be playing the Lantern, I'm a lot less enthusiastic about it.
