Favorite Looney Toons cartoon?
I am talking actual cartoon shorts here, I cannot recall all the names of every cartoon, cause there are tons of them...

I think my favorite ws the one where Bugs Bunny and his nephiew decide to have fun with Pete Puma after he tries to eat the nephiew.

Bugs goes into various bits where he offers Pete tea, leading up to the gag of offering him sugar cubes for his tea :How many lumps do you want?" ; Pete "Oh three or four.."; Bugs pulls out mallet and hits him until there are three or four lumps. Rinse, repeat, laugh. A lot.

2. Oh god that one was hilarious...I remember it well!
I really liked the VERY early Elmer Fudd 'toons

Not sure if this is WB or not, I am bad with that stuff, but I always loved the Tom and Jerry cartoon where they turned on all the water in the kitchen and turned up the temp on the freezer and created an ice rink in the house *lol*

3. It's been so many years!
I don't have too many specifics. I remember being like 8 and just loving any Roadrunner and Wiley E. Coyote shorts. That Coyote could just never seem to buy enough Acme products to catch the roadrunner. I really felt for him. :(

27. You'd think the Coyote would have quit shopping there long ago
Acme's products never worked.

I have heard that law schools across this great land of ours, in their "introduction to civil suits" classes, love to have their students help Wile E. Coyote sue Acme for all the defective merchandise they've sold him over the years.

4. Most with Donald Duck, Wild E Coyote/Road Runner, or Foghorn Leghorn...
Edited on Mon Mar-22-04 05:40 PM by HypnoToad
Bugs is okay... except for the 1943 b/w cartoon made during WW II to keep the Americans nraged over the Japanese, I hope you don't mind if I don't repeat some of the dialogue. While useful for historical purposes (what we were once like but are like toward others today), it's otherwise quite vulgar.

11. Hillbilly Hare
still has the single bounciest, most fun, Bugs Bunny song ever.

But I defy anyone my age to hear Rossini's Barber of Seville and not immediately picture Elmer and Bugs in dueling barber chairs.

24. It's a three-way tie.
First off, "The Rabbit of Seville" is a classic. Sorry, but I can't hear Rossini without thinking of it.

Then there's "Broom-stick Bunny." I actually have a watch with Bugs and Witch Hazel on the face. I love the way Witch Hazel laughs maniacally and leaves hairpins in her wake whenever she rushes off somewhere.

Finally, I love the one where Bugs and some oafish fellow rabbit are competing for the affections of a female rabbit. Bugs winds up in drag at one point and has to fend off the advances of his amourous rival. He turns to the audience and say, "Does this happen to you goils out there?"

29. "Feed the Kitty"
It's the one with the bulldog (Marc Anthony?) where he adopts a little kitten that he just adores.
He comes to believe that the kitten fell into some cookie dough and got cooked.
There's a scene where he takes a kitten shaped cookie from the batch and puts it on his back where the kitty used to perch and just wails.
Brings tears to my eyes every time!

I love that one!

Does anyone else remember it?

32. Bugs Rocks
In the dead of night,
A shimmewing wight,
The ax falls down,
With an awful sound,
I'm a guitaw pwayer,
A wabbit Swayer,
Wiff a dweadful habbit,
KILL THE WABBIT

Parody song by I don't know who,

But the Bugs Bunny short with the Hillbillies whomping each other to the square dance calling of Bugs takes my personal cake.

37. So many great ones to choose from!
Rabbit of Seville, What's Opera Doc?, the one with Bugs doing the monster's nails.....I am partial to Daffy Duck, especially Duck Amuck and Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 Century. Also, one of a kind called, "One Froggy Evening," (I think) with the construction worker who finds a frog that sings and dances only for him.
