Otto Klemperer is considered one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century. He was Jewish (ironic for Col. Klink) and fled Germany and then had a tragic life after that. Check out his wikipedia bio. I have several old records of him conducting.

He was doing something called "Egbert" and he walked on stage, looking EXACTLY the same as when he was Colonel Klink, and shouted out, "EGBERT!!!!" I forget what it was even about!
