The NWS has already posted a winter storm advisory for Thursday and Friday. I have all week to dread the ice storm headed to OK. I've done the no power thingie before, and I just dread it.

There was a HUGE ice storm here in NC last February. It wasn't even that bad by the standards of other places, but the south just doesn't prepare for snow at all. My daughter was only two months old, and the power went out in the middle of the night. That was one of the scariest moments for me as a mom, I was terrified that she wouldn't be warm. Of course she was though, we put like 10 blankets on top of her lmao. We left the next morning to stay at my brother's house, he had power. We've only had one snow this season so far. It wasn't bad at all.

9. Puerto Rico, near the ocean. Average 80 degrees, ocean breeze-that's pretty much it. |

The guy that first told me about that if from PR, now lives in PA, where we have all kinds of weather.
