I've been planning ( and procrastinating) to do a CD of some original stuff for a while now, but want to put a couple of covers on it too. This is on the short list. Powerful performance by my first real vocal influence. ( Would've been David Ruffin , but I knew way back then that there was no way I could pull that off--Eric on the other hand was soulful as hell, but still enough imperfections, that made him that much more real, that I could see myself someday being able to approach his quality with some luck and hard work).
