Tonight I have to work, so no swimming. And next Tuesday I won't be able to swim either because there is the meeting of the book club I want to join. I need to read "The Alchemist" by Paul Coelho till then. Ordered it yesterday evening.

Thank you for the compliment. This sculpture was one of four feet of an sarcophagus in the cathedral of Limburg, Germany. Like you I was fascinated by the sculptures

Just having some coffee (problem with my new office is that there's decent coffee available), with Shostakovich String Quartets playing on my headphones.

The sarcophagus pictures are gorgeous, I love that the word sarcophagus means flesh-eater...but maybe that's just me.

25. Office consolitation.

I'm doing the same job (though there's a restructuring going on and so I don't know where I'll end up eventually), but whereas I was in a small satelitte place before we're all in the same building now.

I still have green tea when I first get into the office, but get some coffee mid morning with my boss (who is now opposite me rather than 3 miles away...for good or ill).

almost a heatwave, but we're expecting 3-6 inches of snow. Nothing like what they've been getting out east though.

Yes, that work thing is a double-edged sword. Dang it anyway. ;) If I want to eat - I've got to work, if I want a roof over my head - I've got to work. Who thought that anyway. ;)
