Name a few celebrities you dislike for NON-POLITICAL REASONS... |
|
Mine include: Robin Williams (for being incredibly unfunny and maudlin in nearly all of his films), all of the Black Eyed Peas (for writing the stupidest songs to hit #1 since the heyday of disco) and Ashton Kutcher (for having absolutely no talent except a knack for the most irritating self-promotion imaginable.)
You?

The only movie I saw of hers that she was good in was The Witches. In all the rest, I thought her acting was terrible - so much so that my suspension of disbelief was suspended the minute she appeared and said something.
She ruined the delightful movie Mr. North. I was flabbergasted that she was cast as the female love interest. She looked old enough to be the mother of "Mr. North," and way too old to be his lover. In the credits I noticed that Huston's brother directed (or produced ?) the film, so for me that explained why she was in it.

Nicolas Cage, for his inability to have any facial expression other than "wounded puppy".
Alain Prost, for running Ayrton Senna off the track and then crying like a baby when Senna responded in kind a year later.

He was really nice and quite shy. The elevator operator was going kind of slow, so Robin made a joke about being in a K-hole and started talking like he was in one.
When we reached the lobby, one of the other operators called him Mork and said, "na-nu na-nu". I was so embarrassed for him.

He still looks 14. He will never not look 14. And while I appreciate some people might like the barely legal looking ones, I find him absolutely ridiculous in dramatic roles where he is not playing 14 year olds. And somehow Hollywood has decided that he is not only plausible, but desirable in those roles so he gets the first pick of good scripts and they are completely spoiled by having him in them.

When it comes to old movies, the one person I cannot stand is Greer Garson. I can't stand the sight of her, nor can I take her irritating voice. She totally wrecked the old Pride and Prejudice, how Olivier stood her is a miracle.
As for current celebrities, anyone who builds a shtick based on body functions is a witless moron who deserves to be shamed and ridiculed in their own right.
I know there are many who irritate me, but since I am partially sedated anyway, I can't get too outraged.

Tom Cruise sucks. I don't know or care what his politics are. In every movie he plays...Tom Cruise.
I can't stand John Mayer's whiny voice. Who gave this chump a recording contract?
Anyone famous for being famous: Paris Hilton, anyone named Kardashian, Nicole Ritchie (who's so ugly I feel sorry for her. She looks like a space alien.) Who are these wastes of space, and why does anyone care?
And I completely agree about the Black Eyed Peas. Ugh. Dreadful. I don't get Fergie at all. She can't sing & looks completely fake.
If it wasn't for Twitter, Ashton Kutcher would be washing dishes somewhere.
But I love Robin Williams. He has made me laugh for years.

Thw whole damn Today cast is a joke. I avoid them at all costs, but since I wanted to watch the Olympic opening ceremonies, I had to put up with Matt Lauer. But he is not nearly as offensive as the rest of that morning crew. Makes you want to sleep till noon. Vierera started as a journalist and decided that dumbass crap and disrespecting guests is the way to go.
When I was in high school (or near that time), I saw Barbara Walters interview Angela Lansbury, and driving her to tears when BW pushed her about family problems that Ms. Landsbury had at that time. Lost all respect for BW and won't be caught anywhere near her broadcasts.
Al Roker is as phony as it gets. motherfucking bastrarding waste of oxygen.
