HerrHerr bought a bottle of it thinking it was something special because it was from the US and it took him almost a year to drink that shit. It was BAD.

Also Old House...that took him another year.

26. This may not qualify as rotgut, but I'll give it to you anyway...

"This is another Scotch distributed by the big boys at Diageo. They also carry and 15 year and an 18 year old blended (I have a bottle of 18, but have yet to break into). Diageo says it's top markets are Japan, Mexico, Columbia and Venezuela, and claims it as well known- I guess they mean in those markets."

http://www.boozelover.com/2008/01/grand-old-parr-unknown-blended-whisky.html

I have to say, I agree with the review, in that this is an extremely popular Scotch in Mexico. To the point that I believe it to be the true national drink of Mexico (tequila is exported to the gringos, to get the cash to buy Old Parr).
