at least that's what my spouse keeps telling me. I tell him he's helping the ecomony -- it's patriotic to get your wife stuff on valentines' day. :patriot:

10. The sickening jewelry commercials
The "you don't love your wife/girlfriend unless you buy her something $1500+" commmercials.

Reminds me of my two favorite quotes from "Blood Diamond"

Who do you think buys the stones I bring out, dreamy American girls who want a story book wedding and a big shiny rock. It's like the ones they see in the advertisements in your politically correct magazines.... -Danny Archer

I understand White people want our diamonds, yes. But how can my own people do this to each other? -Solomon Vandy

11. Hi Parche
What does it look like in the upper level of a 747? I grew up hearing there is a lounge up there but that was when I was a child. I just realized I never found out for sure!

Thanks!

12. Yip, and there was a news item yesterday that Colombia exports umpteen millions of roses, but
this year will lose out because the holiday falls on a Sunday, which is not good for WORKING, so there are problems harvesting and shipping the danged things.
