If you were waiting for the next huge online video event, this is it. Tiger Woods is set to break his silence on Friday morning with a press conference that will be broadcast live at 11 a.m. ET on Ustream, via the company’s partner CBS News.

1. This will be the press conference where he will not say anything.

Why bother to have it.

He should have said something a lot sooner, and not hid.

2. It will be ESPECIALLY inspirational in light of Tiger telling the media that...
...Michael Vick "should have said something a lot sooner, and not hid."

The folks at Waggle Room dug up this Tiger Woods interview with ESPN from 2007, and one wonders why Mr. Woods hasn't taken a little of his own advice. In it, he admonishes Michael Vick for not coming forward and admitting his mistakes publicly. Key quote: "Waiting a long time got a lot of people polarized. ... If he would have come out earlier, he would've diffused a little more of it."

When Michael Vick waited several long weeks in 2007 to acknowledge his lead role in a disgusting dog fighting ring, Woods advised Vick in an interview with ESPN, "If you made that big a mistake, you've got to come out and just be contrite, be honest and just tell the public that 'I was wrong.'"

I LOVE Karma. Sometimes people should keep their "moral compass" in their pants, and their mouths shut. Tiger thinks that after 5 minutes in front of the cameras tomorrow, this will all be behind him. Keep hope alive, Tiger!

My dream come true would be to have Michael Vick hold a press conference, immediately following Woods, and say "You know, Tiger, you should have said something a lot sooner, and not hid."

:toast:

3. Yep.
If he would have said something at the the beginning it would all be over now.
