well I just made pepper jack cheese crisps for the test run, so dinner will probably be hamburgers or something fried on the stove instead :eyes:
I might make some cookies or a pie, though!

at least there is another month or so of cooler weather before the complete hatred of a hot oven kicks in!
I need to get to my christmas holiday baking now!

still have to clean the oven door, but its working! And my cheapness made me wait until I found the igniter for $22 - as opposed to the $89 when I first started looking. Everything indicated that was the most likely problem, but 89 is kind of pricey to expirement with, 25 I could handle if that wasn't the actual problem.

I remember your Thanksgiving struggle. My dishwasher had an electrical fire on Monday - need a new one. Like you, I try to repair but not this time. Congrats again! Dana ; )

sounds like a short somewhere
I kind of rebuilt my dishwasher a couple years ago - it was leaking from the latch for the soap dispenser and ruined some stuff in/on the door. Got new gaskets, latch, and front panel - now it works like new. Well except the plastic that Watson the macaw (aka the asshole) chewed off the upper rack - that is rusting away now, but I saw some kind of paint on goo to fix that when I was looking for my oven part, so now I need to go back and find that.

12. Yeah the switch fried |

Melted wires and all. Although now I have good excuse to get a new efficient electronic model. I replaced the switch a couple years ago when it wouldn't fill. It's ancient and now a fire hazard LOL! Dana ; )
