3. Hey! It's an embarrassing problem.
Most of the time I react normally, but occasionally I cry at things that don't merit tears, and I can't help it! LOL!

6. Most embarrassing: I cried when a song came on in a restaurant, at lunch.
It was the Sarah Mc Lachlan song "on the arms of the angels" because it reminded me of that commercial about abused animals.

I started crying in a taxi in Las Vegas for NO REASON at all!!!

I cried at a funeral for some old man I never met. (I had to go, but still, I felt stupid).

8. No. My wife laughs with glee when things explode or someone gets killed-
the more violence in a movie, the happier she is.

She had a tough adolescence, I guess....

13. That's me. I cry at movies such as "The Great Escape." I get teary at commercials. Live music can
make me get all verklempt because I think it's so awesome when people decide to work together and make something beautiful. I have to bring a Kleenex when my kids are in the summer comedy play, because of how lucky we are that we live in a place that values such things. "Jolly Old St. Nicholas" sung at the Christmas concert by kindergartners sends me to the exits because all I can think of is all the kids in that group who might not have a good holiday for a variety of reasons.

So yeah, the crying wife? I'm with her all the way.

14. Only when the bad guys win, like when Luke murders Palpatine, or Ripley destroys the Nostromo
killing the alien.

I cry, too, when evil wins.

16. No, but I totally get the thing about tearing up at random shit (and I'm a guy).
I remember bawling my eyes out in the middle of class, back in high school, at the end of "Dead Man Walking." I mean, you figure the son-of-a-bitch deserved to die after what he did, right? But somehow the juxtaposition of the murder scene with the execution scene just touched off something inside me, and I made a total childish fool of myself. :(
