Have you ever been truly surprised to find out some public figure is still alive?
I swear, SWEAR that I not only read Alexander Haig's obituary YEARS ago, but that I saw his passing covered on all the network news shoes, along with footage of his career, etc.

Then imagine my WTF surprise when I find out he just died a couple of days ago. I KNOW I've been through all this before!

This is really weird. I feel like I've been in some parallel universe. Maybe I read too many Philip K. Dick books.

4. Abe Vigoda.
I thought he was like 106 when he played Fish on Barney Miller.

I thought he had died way back in 1999.

7. I thought Ebert had died a long time ago
But I just saw a story about him. He had cancer of the mouth or throat and is unable to talk now, but he's still writing.
