Undercover Boss - that show really bugs me |
|
I've watched 3 episodes and in each case I find myself disgusted with the "big boss" who goes undercover and at the end throws some token little crumbs to the peons who work harder than he probably ever did in his whole frikken life, and yet he probably pulls down what, like a thousand times more than they make?
Our society is so utterly fucked up. We should have a month where the top wage earners in this country have to do the jobs of the lowest wages earners -- for the full month. Not that they'll learn anything, but maybe society will learn something about where the REAL value of our citizens is and that the wage disparity is just an inhumane gross joke that isn't very funny.
I wonder if the lady with one kidney that works at the 7-11 has health insurance from her job?

1. I thought this episode was the best so far |
|
At least it seemed like the management was competent and engaged in what was going on, in contrast with the inept company and manager we saw last week.
And as a full-time employee with 7-Eleven, the lady with one kidney DOES have health insurance from her job.

2. I haven't watched that show. |

Do they actually make the CEOs live off of the wages they pay their workers?
Now that would be interesting to see.
