24 jumped the shark...
I was a diehard fan until this season.

I just can't get into it.

The plot is the same crap over and over.

I will give them this, at least it's in NYC and not LA yet again.

but the contrived plot lines and suspension of disbelief required by and audience member went from, "okay, this is a fun ride" to "what the hell was that?"

I'm not completely done, but I haven't watched the last 3 episodes and I'm finding it hard for me to go back and come up to speed.

Anyone else feeling that way?

2. Yeah, it did...
but I continued to watch much like one who drives slowly past a trainwreck.

3. I bailed in the middle of season three.
24 jumped the shark during the mountain-lion-menacing incident. Everything since has just upped the absurdity.

4. Oh forgot about that one.
It's beginning to appear as if 24 continues to out jump its own shark time and time again.

5. I understand the continuing to watch, though...
everyone's got their shows that they just keep watching, even if they're not nearly as good as they used to be. I still watch The Simpsons every Sunday, and I never miss an episode of Lost.

6. That's EXACTLY when I bailed.
With me, they can only get so much suspended disbelief. I have my limits.

7. D'oh ... I read your response, saw the sigline, and clicked on my inbox.
In my defense, I didn't have my usual morning coffee this morning.
