Knit graffiti - It's raining cats and dogs!

http://www.booooooom.com/2010/02/23/howie-woo-woowork-yarnbombing/

This was in Vancouver. So cute!

For those of you unfamiliar with "yarnbombing," from Wiki: "Graffiti knitting, yarnbombing or yarn bombing or yarnstorming is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted cloth rather than paint or chalk. While yarn installations may last for years, they are considered non permanent, and, unlike graffiti, can be easily removed if necessary. The practice is believed to have originated in the U.S. with Texas knitters trying to find a creative way to use their leftover and unfinished knitting projects, but it has since spread worldwide."

2. You're right. Crochet, not knit. But still cute.

5. Very cool!
.
For "baby presents", my mom used to crochet "zoo blankets". She'd
put about a dozen yarn "cage pockets" on the blanket and each would
have a soft little stuffed animal inside.
