Brooms, Water Create Unexpected Disney Art
Brooms, Water Create Unexpected Disney Art

Water sketch art on the streets of Magic Kingdom Park stops me in my tracks. It always does. And it’ll likely do the same to you if you’re quick enough to spot it. The Florida sun is not a friend to custodial water artwork but it’s amazing while it lasts.

The way the art is created is unexpected. The custodial crew at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Park take the tools of their trade – a broom and water pan – and turn them into instruments to entertain.

I’ve heard Guests call the water sketches of Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Tinker Bell amazing and “absolutely beautiful.”

1. I'm having trouble believing anything in Disney World could be described as "absolutely beautiful"
That place is a pit and a half.

3. We'll see about that.
Our Republican governor is not perfect, ideal or preferrable by any means, but he still sure as hell beats the last guy to hold the office and attempt to destroy the state. Of course, Crist is a one-termer and might not even get the Senate nomination, which we better hope that Rubio (i.e. Jeb Bush Jr.) doesn't win in the general. Meanwhile, hopefully Alex Sink will hold off Bill McCullom (once known as the Clenis obsessed congressman) to be the next governor. McCullom's failed at statewide races before (US Senate) so I've got my fingers crossed, but no guarantees.
