. ...so I won't be coming back to this thread. . The language and the imagery in the writing are beautiful and masterful. . But it does remind me of an even bleaker "On the Beach" so far. . OBTS. . Out Before The Spoilers. .

I bought the book and didn't put it down till I was done with the whole thing. A few of the most mind blowing hours I have ever spent.

The book is bleak and dark, but I think that's the whole point. I thought it beautifully answered the question of whether or not love can endure or even matters when there is no reason for hope.
