1. Seinfeld, because it was the anti-Friends.

5. When I worked in cubicle land...the years prior to 2002, when I started my own company...
...I'd come home five nights a week, turn on the TV, fix dinner, and there would always be some cobination of Simpsons, Seinfeld, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond reruns on Channel 2 (Oakland) or Channel 44 (San Francisco)...for a couple of years, 3rd Rock From The Sun was in that mix, too. 6 to 8 PM, weeknights. I've seen every episode of ALL of those shows at LEAST twice.

...so it's not so much that I really loved any of those shows. It's the fact that they gave me two hours of mindless background noise, laugh track included, while I decompressed from 8 to 10 to 12 hours of working in companies just like Initech, but they were nowhere near as funny in real life, because that stuff REALLY HAPPENED. Office Space has to be the most insightful and astute movie ever made.

8. Seinfeld was funny, entertaining, witty and clever

"Friends" had none of those qualities.

I never understood the appeal of "Friends" -it always struck me as unfunny drivel
