Moments in your life that seem like they are from Seinfeld! |
|
I just rode on of those lark scooters. ("going straight to hell at no more than 5 miles and hour").

1. We have a "surpervisor" at the factory who is almost universally DESPISED... |
|
Her very name is an EPITHET here, just as "Newman" was on Seinfeld. If you see someone who looks sad, and ask them "what's wrong?", odds are that they will hiss 'GLADYS!!!' (not her real name)
So I have several "Seinfeldesque" moments every day.
More Seinfeldesque: I recently attempted to perpetrate the "roomate switch" with a nasty, stupid 6-foot-tall blonde co-worker who I've bought a few beers for after work.
Her roommate is very petite, asian-looking,dark-haired, dark eyed, And, as it turned out, she can PRODUCE and SWING a geniune Louisville Slugger faster than I can blink.
Serenity NOW!!!!!!!

3. Sometimes my whole life feels like a Seinfeld moment |
|
I meet bizarre people with bizarre stories and have bizarre interactions all the time. But then, I work retail.

And everything I do has unintended consequences, but usually not very hilarious.

9. Nah. Seinfeld was about nothing. But when you teach high schoolers, it's always something. |

10. Any moment with Mr and Mrs Seinfeld |
|
Particularly the trip Jerry and Elaine take to Florida
Elaine has to beg the Seinfelds to turn on the AC then hurts her back on the lousy sofa bed.

11. For a long time, my in-laws had no A/C |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-05-10 09:44 AM by Mad_Dem_X
In the summertime, it was unbearable at their house. Then, they got A/C, but my MIL hated to turn it on. I joked to my husband all the time, that I should do the Elaine-begging thing at her.
ETA: I've also been known to shout, "Serenity now!" when I'm stressed out.

It just seemed rather trivial, like what you might find in Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm.
