Anybody besides me remember "Association?" |
|
The group?
"Windy" "Cherish"
Next Friday they'll be here in Sheboygan at the Weill Center.

In fact I can't stomach the other ones. But I truly love that one.

16. According to Wikipedia, there are two or three in there, and a son. |
|
But the OP left out the "The" part of the name... "The Association"
Rewatch "The Commitments" for a refresher on the importance of "The" in a band's name.
Although, way back when, "The Pink Floyd" was the name, IIRC, until they dropped the "The" and gave it to Matt Johnson so he could form "The The" and toil in obscurity.

I'm amazed that they're still around. Are you going to see them?

Besides, I think a couple hours of 60's soft rock would drive me yibbly.

9. I own the world's largest collection of Association LPs |

Three: And then along comes . . . The Association; Renaissance; Insight Out.
A badly overlooked group with some fine musicians and harmonies that rivaled the Beach Boys. Glad to hear they're still going, even though they'll never make it to my neck of the woods.

I'd have to stick that in my eye.

13. No, don't go blaming me for that thing! |
|
The guy who came up with that actually works for the Dodgers now.
I will confess to singing "Dirty Water" and "Tessie" after a win, which is, frankly, an entirely different story!
