Would you be worried? My brother's roommate finished class and was |
|
off at his girlfriends house for a few days. My brother started to get phone calls from visa saying they were tracking odd charges to roommate's account in the USA (brother lives in Canada). My brother called his cell phone three times and got no answer. He was really worried. Just about to call the police.

1. Has he called any relatives? |
|
They might be able to offer some clues, but he just might need the police, too.

3. My brother did get a call back from his roommate. He was on a roadtrip. |

I just wondered if you all would have the same reaction I did.

Coulda gone for a spontaneous road trip with the gf. Coulda had his card stolen or spoofed. Those strike me as the most likely.
Either way, if Visa cuts access to funds with that card, either he will call them to find out why, or whoever stole it will not be able to use it anymore.
