New Exile on Main Street tracks aren't very good. IMO
I was hoping for them to sound like they were cut in the 70s, but they might as well be off the Stones' newest album. I heard some interview where Mick said that he wrote the lyrics and sang them in the style of Exile which is mostly about attitude. Sounds like a lot of the same kind of wisdom inflected love songs that he’s been writing in the last 10 years or so. They’ve also included a lot of overdone female backup vocals on nearly every track. Most of the songs work OK for two and a half minutes, but wind up dragging on.

On the other hand, the remastering of the original album sounds good.
