Has there ever been a real-life costumed hero?
Superhero comic books have been around for, what, seventy years? Hasn't there ever been a person who donned a mask and cape to fight criminals in their city?

I don't care if it was a one-shot deal. Are there any cases?

3. The balaclava has been donned by many.
The cape? Not so much. Hence my mask v cape post. Glad to see you picked up on that, and good friggin' example, btw.

4. Oh, absolutely
In fact, the movie Kick-Ass was inspired (loosely) by the exploits of one such figure.

(Our hillclimb series uses the same rescue team - Speedway Safety Services)
They are a service grown from a local ambulance company, with rescue trucks, gear, and training for motorsport. Most are moonlighting firefighters or EMT's, so the knowledge and training gets spread around.

7. The problem with thinking it is only about doing good.
Some people think bad is good.

People that think opposite of me think my ideas are bad and theirs good. I think my ideas are mostly good, and people opposite of me mostly bad.

There are thousands of people doing bad thinking they are doing good.

That is the problem, hence why it is an education problem. You can argue that people should do good, and find justice, but they have to know what it is.

Then there is a set that knows they do bad and do not care, that is another group.

So there are three groups.

Those that think they do good, but do bad.
Those that do mostly good.
And those that do bad and know it but do not care.

So you have to educate those that want to do good, and try to free the heart of those that do not care.

And it is not about google, that is thinking in linear time and not understanding sequence is more then any google search, although many people at google could do more good then bad, it is not about google.

8. Did you write the timecube website?
Sorry, just kidding!

I've noticed you are a deep thinker.

Seriously, there was a guy called angle grinder man. I think it was in London. He would go around, in costume, using a piece of heavy machinery called an angle grinder to "rescue" people whose autos had been booted due to parking violations.

I'm sure he thought he was doing good, but the traffic police disagreed.

11. You make the same point again, police is metaphor for existence rule enforcers
Edited on Thu May-20-10 03:07 PM by RandomThoughts
There are people that think bad is the police.

There are groups that think if they are well off, then they must be right, and so they think the guidance even creating hurt, that got them there, are the police.

There are groups that think on better feelings based on things like empathy and the better values most know, and they think that their guidance is the police.

There is a group that thinks bad things are the police because they help them, not because they do good. And they have to admit they do not care about doing good, only what they get, and from that admission they become accountable, which is most of things anyways.

But the point you make is to say what the police think. You are saying the police have a thought, but in a bad system the police are bad, and not really police. And a persons police or guidance comes from the system they follow, and there are many systems.

It is a delusion of those that think power is right. It is part of that side. And when you pull the thoughts together, you find that the bad side needs secret, because most people in the 'do bad, thinking they do good group' learn and then make a decision. Some continue to do bad in ideas of burned out soul, or in despair, and some turn to good. But really it is that education that divides the groups, because people have to know what they are choosing to have a free will choice.

So lack of education and secrecy can keep many people in the do bad thinking they do good, but with light and education, most of those people see, and from seeing they choose to actually do good, and from that the ones that do not care that they do bad get defeated, since they lose the bulk of their support that they had deceived.

So shining a light and people thinking and feeling, will defeat those that know they do bad, all that has to happen is for those that do bad and don't know it, but do care, for them to see what is going on, and the do good and want to do good side gets much help. Which is why bad needs lies and secrecy, the darkness, that has how it has been for a very long time.

And why showing what is being done in honesty is where much of the battle is, since that is what darkness fears, having people shown what it is doing.

"I am going to show them what you do not want them to see" That is what that line means in the Matrix.

This post is not about people police officers, nor military, nor anyone that enforces what ever rules a society has.

16. Your thoughts don't seem all that random to me. Just obsessive with RainMan like syntax
Also, your user name is an anagram for both "Grand Mouth Shot" and "Dormant Hug Host."

And maybe for "door mat hung"

18. Anagrams are pretty ridiculous.
There are more anagrams then people can think of, and some people even think in terms of breaking up words to mean other things, it will make you crazy.

For instance,

I see you, ICU Intensive Care Unit.

And same thing with many names, but again shouldn't do it, but since from what I heard I like the guy, you can do the same thing with names. But probably shouldn't because names do not define a person.

anagram, a na gram.

syntax sin tax

And actually random thoughts is not my name, it is from the movie pay it forward, seems many things seem like random acts of kindness, and unfortunately also sometimes random acts of bad, but there seems to be a pattern in many things, so I have a different thought on random.

When I think of Rain, I think of Raina, but that is a long story.

14. By saying it is not about google, does not mean it is not partly about google.
It is saying it is not about any group or individual but about many groups and individual. There is some thought that it is about some group more then another, it is about many mostly good people at google also, but not about google without that caveat.

17. How did this thread run this long with no one mentioning Superbarrio?
He's a former pro wrestler who now runs around exposing negligent & abusive landlords in Mexico City. He's so famous, he's even got his own Wikipedia page! zOMFG!

He, of course, drives around in the Barriomobile
