And I've always thought that would be a terrific way to have a vacation. If you were to drive across the U.S., what would you listent to?

When I was in college, I was driving from Baltimore to St. Louis with my roommates, and put my much-loved "Hergest Ridge" cassette in the car's deck. Fifteen minutes later, everyone in the car, including myself, was fast asleep. At 60mph. Fortunately, we were in rural Indiana, so the car just kept on going down the endless straight road until I woke up.

i had a bunch of CDs, tried to catch local stations if i could.
in the middle of the SW deserts, there ain't nothing, not even crappy AM.
