Do you use--or not use--spell checker? And why or why not?

I rarely ever go without a spell check, but it's usually a non-event for me, as I almost always have no mis-spelled words anyhow. But occasionally I'll make a typo when I'm sleepy or for similar reasons.

Do you use spell check? I'd be interested in knowing why other people use it, or don't use it.

I do use it, but not all the time... If I'm really unsure about the spelling, I'll use it.
