I know there is someone here who does.

In order to have my hernia repaired (and have some pregnancy skin cut off in the process) I MUST quit smoking. My mind keeps telling me that "No... you lose the skin and weight and get that under control FIRST because you'll gain more, but the doctor say, "Nyet."

3. I believe that your doc will require you to be nicotine-free.

So if you go the e-cig route, be sure to buy the nicotine-free cartridges. A friend of mine is awaiting elective surgery and needs 3 nicotine-free blood tests so she can't use the patch, gum or e-cigs with nicotine.

5. I quit smoking using Champix/Chantix. It worked really well for me and I was someone who kept trying

to quit and couldn't. I mean it has worked really, really well. I don't want a smoke when I see someone else smoking these days.
