Three words: Chicken. Fried. Bacon. |
|
Ah, yes - Sunday brunch in Texas.
I ordered this meal as something of an over-the-top goof, but surprisingly, the bacon was thick-cut, tender, and despite the method of cooking, not at all greasy or oily. I lost 2.5 of my four strips to the others at the table :^(
I had four (no, make that 1.5) strips of it on a two-patty burger which also featured an egg sunny-side up on top. (This is what made it a healthy breakfast. That, and the vitamin-rich hand-squeezed fresh orange juice we added to the champagne.)

3. Indeed. There's even chicken-fried chicken! |
|
not to be confused with plain old fried chicken, it's a chicken cutlet breaded and, well, chicken-fried. Yee-haaaa!

7. That'd be the Schnitzel (for the teutons), or Milanesa (for us latinos). |

Opened by the guy who apparently used to run the Rainbow Grill in Houston. He cooks vegan too, amazingly.
